The GNSS antenna mount provided by YellowScan is designed to fit all DJI M300, but must be properly installed to avoid vibration of the antenna, and a good connection between the GNSS antenna and cable.
The default Mapper+ package includes an antenna plate designed to be mounted on the DJI M300 UAV model. To install the provided GNSS antenna on the DJI M300, please follow the below steps :
- Remove the 2 screws from the front of the DJI M300 located at the top left hand side of the M300 as shown in the picture below.
- Two screws are supplied together with the antenna plate. They differ by the thread pitch. The screw with the wider thread pitch goes at the bottom of the antenna plate, the other one goes at the top.
- Screw the AV18 GNSS antenna using the 0.5 m cable. Be sure the cable is well engaged within the antenna plate. Make sure 5mm of thread is available for screwing the AV18 on.
Beware of the rotor blades that may hit the GNSS cable. Secure the GNSS cable firmly with cables ties.
- Screw the AV18 GNSS antenna tightly. There's a small joint at the bottom of the AV18 antenna that must be squeezed. That , and the 5mm of connector's thread, will ensure a proper connectivity.
